Cleo after Cleopatra depicted on the screen in 1963, by Elizabeth Taylor with the influence of Isis in costume. Cleopatra was the last of the Pharaohs, 69B.C.-30B.C. She was known more for her beguiling ways than by her governing skills with her native Egypt. History does not depict her as beautiful as “Liz” but nevertheless, enough so, that she attracted; Julius Caesar and then; Marc Antony. She and Marc committed suicide. She is said to have killed herself by means of an asp. Michele painted her as a Saluki, another ancient Egyptian dog. |
